Since 1999, CareLink has been assisting elderly and chronically ill individuals to remain healthy and live safely while remaining in their own homes. CareLink Nurse Care Coordinators are well-trained, highly qualified individuals who work with clients, families and other providers to develop in-home care systems, which meet both short and
long-term client needs. We have served served hundreds of individuals through personalized care plans.

That means we meet or exceed standards for staff background studies, insurance coverage, caregiver orientation, training and supervision, safety and other best practices, and having a nurse on call 24/7. We provide the peace of mind and comfort you’re seeking when in-home services are needed.
CareLink Founders and Owners
CareLink was founded by Carlene Blickhan, Cathy Meckes and Cindy Paul. Cindy and Carlene's extensive nursing experience, including years in home health care, had made them aware of many individuals' needs for continuing nursing support and coordination in order to manage chronic health issues and the frailties that come with increasing age. Cathy's work in hospital administration and as a consultant to health plans included data analysis that documented the ongoing health and care coordination needs of individuals with chronic illnesses. Their high level of qualifications led them to create CareLink where they utilize their skills and expertise to create and manage in-home care systems to help people remain healthy and live safely at home.
CareLink now provides skilled nursing, nurse care coordination and supportive services throughout northeastern Missouri and west central Illinois. Carlene retired from CareLink in 2011 after a distinguished nursing care spanning more than 40 years. Cindy and Cathy continue as co-owners of CareLink, actively involved in carrying out its mission to provide clients and families the peace of mind that comes from nurse coordinated in-home care.
